Booker v Grand Rapids Medical College (1909)

The Michigan Supreme Court rules against the Kent County Circuit Court in a case where two black students are expelled after several white students threaten to leave if the black students are allowed to return. The Supreme Court ruled the students had a right to not be expelled but that the court lacked the power to enforce private contracts.
